BERWICK LEGION RIDERS TO HOST 19 OCTOBER FUNDRAISER FOR HOUSE OF HOPE FOOD PANTRY
BERWICK LEGION RIDERS TO HOST 19 OCTOBER
FUNDRAISER FOR HOUSE OF HOPE FOOD PANTRY
The Legion Riders are members of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion who are registered motorcycle owners. American Legion Riders (ALR) are especially well known for their charitable work supporting schools, homeless shelters, veterans homes and their local communities.
That’s why the Chapter 79 Legion Riders are getting ready to host their 5th “Crop for a Cause” Charity Vendor Fair and Scrapbooking event on Saturday, 19 October, at the Berwick Town Hall auditorium from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This will be a multi-faceted event with local vendors selling amazing products on one side of the auditorium and paper crafters on the other side. The vendor fair is open to the public all day. If you have never attended this event, stop in during the day to see why it’s so popular. (There will also be a crafters yard sale table and freebie table).
Paper crafting consultants will be on-hand with items for sale or to assist if you need help or advice with a scrapbooking project. There will be multiple raffles throughout the day and you must be present to win. There are several ways to earn raffle tickets: by registering early, bringing donations for the food pantry, taking classes or making vendor purchases.
To attend the scrapbooking event, you must register in advance to reserve a table. The cost is $30.00 for a full day (includes lunch) or $15.00 for a half day. New vendors are also welcome at the full day rate. Participants are asked to bring items to donate to the House of Hope food pantry (canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, etc.).
